Chemdoc App Launch

Hello All Chemdoc Users,
The new Chemdoc App, will be launched in the coming weeks.
The app is compatible only on ANDROID devices running from API version of 19 (Android 4.4 (KITKAT)) to the latest version of android. The app can be downloaded for all the devices including smart phones and Tablets.
The App allows you to view your SDSs and Risk Assessments while on the move.
More details on the APP will be posted in the coming weeks

Hello All Chemdoc Users,
We at Chemdoc are continuing to work to ensure maximum system performance, as a result the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Saturday 25/03/2017 2:30 PM and 03:00 AM and users may experience minor disruption during this period.
In addition to this date we are also carrying out scheduled maintenance on 03/04/2017 from 10:30 PM until approximately 6:00 AM.
If you experience any disruption during the above periods do let me know.
We will do all we can to limit any disruption to normal service.

Does it include all new products introduced in 2016 ?
Have all retired products been removed ?
Do you know the quantities of flammable or other hazardous products you have on site ?
If you answered No to any of the above questions, the Chemdoc team can help you?
We offer our existing customers an on-site chemical inventory review.
We will take a detailed inventory (including quantities) of all chemical products stored in all areas of your site.
Inventory results are uploaded directly to Chemdoc.
The review is charged at a daily rate so you only pay for the time spent on site.

Chemdoc Upgrade

Hello All Chemdoc Users,
The website upgrade will take place this weekend. The upgrade will allow user to:
View the products that you have requested to be added to Chemdoc.

Allows the user to delete their own products from their department lists.
The new version of the site will allow users who have administration access to complete the following:
Create/Edit new departments through the administration panel.
Create/Edit new users through the administration panel.
Assign department roles to users through the administration panel.

Chemdoc Upgrade

We at Chemdoc have been working on developing new Chemdoc features to give the user more control over their products. On the weekend of the 19th November we will introducing a new version of Chemdoc with new features including the following:
• Product requests - View the products that you have requested to be added to Chemdoc.
• Deleted products – View products that you have deleted/removed from your inventory.
• Feedback products – Products that you have added and we require further information to source the SDS.
• Manage products - Allows the user to delete their own products from their department lists.
The new version of the site will allow users who have administration access to complete the following:
• Create/Edit new departments through the administration panel.
• Create/Edit new users through the administration panel.
• Assign department roles to users through the administration panel.
Administration access will allow power user greater control of their product inventories. Administration access can be given to existing or new users of the site.
We will send you further correspondence and reminders closer to the date.
Use Chemicals Safely Seminar

The Health and Safety Authority are running a seminar on October 20th in Dublin. The seminar will provide a overview of some of the laws, information sources and tools available to enable you to use chemicals safely at work.

REACH 2018

All chemical substances produced or imported from outside the EU between 1 and 100 tonnes per year, need to be registered by 31st May 2018 with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This is the last deadline for registering chemicals under the REACH Regulation. National Poison Information Centre (NPIC) notification.

The HSA have recently published guidance on the notification of chemical products to the National Poison Information Centre (NPIC) in Ireland. The guidance outlines what chemical product need to be notified and who needs to notify to the NPIC.When a chemical product is being placed on the market in another EU Member state they also require notification to the appointed body of that Member State. The European Commission is currently working on harmonising the information submitted to Member State Poison Centres and the legislative changes are underway.
